A little bit about Damon Braly and Vivid Ideas

I founded Vivid Ideas in 1996, so I've been focused on health IT marketing communications for 20-plus years. I own an agency, but I'm a hands-on type of guy. I write, plan, design, manage and drive the programs that elevate my clients' visibility and sales.

My foray into health IT began as an editor of several industry publications, including Health Management Technology, Health Industry Today, and Hospital Materials Management. The experience provided me with tremendous insights into what works and what doesn't when it comes to business-to-business marketing. The lessons learned are the foundation of Vivid Ideas to this day.

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism from Pepperdine University (also played on the men's Division I basketball team)
  • Secretary on the board of directors for the Kansas City Rowing Club, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to foster the sport of rowing in the greater Kansas City area
  • Weekly volunteer at the Village Church Food Pantry, which processes and gives out 54,000 pounds of food each month to those in need
